Cab Run

Today, I witness my first CabRun, and it was done by 2 girls! Incase all you folks don't know what a CabRun is, it is to take and cab and instead of paying the taxi driver, you run for it. Basically, it's a shity thing to do, imagine what it feels like to be the taxi driver.

I just finished playing basketball with the basketball gang and we were on our way to lunch when the incident happened. We were pretty far away when it happen, but if we were closer, we would have definately went chasing after the 2 girls. The most shocking thing was the GIRLS! To think that girls will have the guts to do this kind of thing. What have the girls of our time turn into? We found out later from the taxi driver that the ride only cost $5.40! You mean to tell me that 2 people can't even afford to fork out $5?! Damn Cheapo's!

Anyway, I caught two movies over the 2 weeks, the highly anticipated Transformers 2 and the third sequel Ice Age 3. Transformers was a definate kick as movie, with 2.5 hours of action, robots and Megan Fox! Ice Age 3 was pretty funny and the little babies were pretty cute too.

Long Time Since Iv Update, Sims 3!

I know it's been a long time since I last updated my blog. Iv been really busy over the holidays, with activities almost everyday, going for outings and movies. There are so many things I want to share on my blog but I have done so much during the past couple of weeks that it will take a long time for me to post them up.

Anyways, a whole week of school has past, every since school reopened after the 2 week break. This whole week went by pretty fast, so fast that it makes me wonder how short life really is. Not to mention, I had UTs practically everyday, consisting of retakes and due to some technical problems the school system had during the first attempt. So basically, Its four days of school and four days of UTs, a first for me ever since I stepped into RP. Somehow, I managed to complete all my UTs with slight confidence but despite this, I really hope I can do well for my UTs.

So ermm... Aside from school, here's a little update on what have been up to lately. Hear me! Hear me! All Sims fans and people who have heard or know about the latest Sims news. YES! Thats right, you know what Im talking about, Im talking about...SIMS 3! And FYI...

I HAVE SIMS 3!!

Yeah! I recently got my hands on the newest edition to the Sims collection from my classmate Pei Shan. I must say that the game can get pretty addictive once you've started. After playing the game for the past couple of days, i now understand the whole craze about "Sims". The new Sims 3 is really like living out a second life. Everything in this game can be controled, from eating to sleeping to going to work. But what i really love about the game is that I can be an architect and create my own home and landscape. If you have a lot of spare time on your hands, your should seriously consider getting Sims 3, as it really kills time. I basically spent 2 days just creating my perfect home.

Adidas Sundown Marathon 09

I went for my very first running event on the 30th of May 2009 for the Adidas Sundown Marathon.

Always wanted to see what it was like to participate in such an event and I can really say, I enjoyed myself there.

I ran the 10Km run along with some of my mates from the Kayaking IG.

To my surprise, I managed to run all the way and I clocked in at around 1 Hour 11 Min.

Not bad for my standards!

I feel very proud at myself for completing a run at such a distance, my first time really.

This event is definitely a good experience for me and I am looking forward to join other running events in the near future.

Avontuur De Republic 09

The Avontuur De Republic 2009 race was held at Republic Polytechnic yesterday. It is a outdoor adventure race where participants will go through different types of obstacles such as trail running and abseiling in teams of 3. The race was consisted of three categories - RP close, Tertiary Open and Upper Secondary.

I was there as a race official, to help out with the event, representing RP Kayakers. Practically spent a whole day there, helping out with race registration and taking care of the sponsor booths. I had to wake up at 5.50AM as helpers had to attend a briefing just before the event kicked off. I was stationed at the registration counter as a body marker, marking competitors with their team numbers on their arms and legs. After registration was done, i was moved to the sponsor booths to take care/sell the products there.

The whole event ended at around 5pm, so yea, I spent about11 hours in school. It was definitely a good experience for me and I also got the event tee which is pretty cool.

After the whole event ended, I had to collect my race package for the Adidas Sundown Marathon 09, and I'm like dead tired at this point. I had to travel all the way to Millinia Walk where the collection point was at, which needless to say, is sooooo daaamn faaaar! After that, I finally went home to have my dinner and to rest my aching legs.

Just some info on the Adidas Sundown Marathon 09 Race. It will be held next Sat on the 30th of May at Changi Point. Like the race name suggest, the race will be held at night and there will be a few categories such as team coporate challenge and the daunting 84km Ultra Marathon.

Can't wait for the event! One more week to go!

First UT, First Training, Briefing for Avontuur 09

Had my first UT of the semester yesterday for Database System. After doing the test i feel pretty confident that i can do well. Most of the questions were pretty easy and there were a few which were tricky as well. Ironically, there was a a lot more questions in the test, despite the school extending the test duration from 30 min to 45 min so that students have enought time to complete the test i nthe first place. I question to school committee, whats the point in increasing the durution to give students more time to complete the test when your your gonna increase the amount of questions as well? Anyway, I still managed to complete my test just on time, Thank god for that!

After UT i had to rush to E2 for a briefing for volunteer helpers during the RP Avontuur 09 race held around RP itself. Somehow after attending the briefing, i seriously regret volunteering. Why you ask? Well, I only have reach school at 6.30 in the MORNING, thats all... and the lastest time the event will end is at 5PM! Gosh! What did i get myself into?! On the bright side, i will be getting the event tee which can be pretty cool if you think about it and I heard there is gonna be a goodie bag as well. Now I just have to figure out how Im gonna get to school that early...

Yesterday was also the first kayaking training ever since school re-opened. Went there after the briefing , hoping to see all the year 1 students who signed up during the SLA fair. But... Because we started so late with the UTs and briefing, only a hand full of year 1 students turned up. A peice of good news though, Matt and Irene has been appointed our new Captian and Vice-Captian respectively.YEA!!

I just spent the longest time ever needed to complete my networking RJ. Freaking faci had to give such a long RJ. Its more like a UT if you ask me. To let you see how hard/long/ridicules this RJ is i shall post it up.

For network 169.254.0.0/16, you need to implement a logical addressing scheme that allows for 29 subnets, answer the following questions and show all the working clearly:

1. Assume all subnets are of the same size, what should be the subnet mask? Explain your answer

225.225.248. Because we need to accommodate 29 subnets, we need to make use of a network with 32 subnets. Since 32 equals to 2^5, where 5 is the amount of bits we have to borrow, the network address will have a CIDR of /21. Therefore the subnet mask = (2^7)+(2^6)+(2^5)+(2^4)+(2^3) = 128+64+32+16+8 = 248.

2. For the designed used in Q1, what is the number of valid hosts in each subnet?

Since the network is using a CIDE /21 address, that leaves us with 11 host bits. Therefore (2^11) - 2 = 2048 – 2 = 2046 hosts.

By converting both the ip address and subnet address to binary and than applying the translated subnet mask to the ip address, we can get the network address which is 169.254.32.0.

Same thing applies for finding the broadcast address but now we have to invert the subnet mask from 11111111.11111111.11111000.00000000 to 00000000.00000000.00000111.11111111. Than we apply this to the ip address to get 169.254.39.255.

5. For the designed used in Q1, what are the valid IP addresses of hosts in the 2nd subnet?

The 2^nd subnet addresses of host ranges from 169.254.8.1 to 169.254.8.254.

Secretary bites off boss' penis

Singapore (May 4, 2009) : A secretary bit off the private parts of her boss in a freak accident during their sex romp in a car.

The incident happened in a car park in East Coast Park in Singapore over the weekend.

According to a Singapore evening paper's report, which was picked up by the Malaysian Chinese dailies today, the 30-year-old married woman was performing oral sex on the man when a van reversed into their car, causing her to snap her jaws shut.

What happened not only shocked the couple but also her husband, who after being tipped off by a private eye had rushed to the scene, and was about to pounce on the pair when the accident happened.

The private eye called an ambulance to send the courting couple to hospital.

The woman's insurance agent husband, also 30, had hired the private eye after some intimate SMSes sent to her handphones raised his suspicion.

The private eye, telling the paper what he saw was the most horrible scene in his entire career, said the fuming husband now wanted to divorce his wife.

The report did not say whether doctors managed to reattach the severed penis.

So my first week of school went pretty well i must say.

The class has some really cool people, like this girl called Rita who has been learning Muay Thai for 8+ years. Wouldn't wanna get on her bad side as she will squeeze your nips 360 degrees. Ouch!

First day of school was not like first day of school.

One would expect total silence and that every so hateful awkward feeling you will get. But!

That was totally not the case in my class.

Sure it started out slow, but soon everyone was talking at laughing away.

Guess it must be the "being in 2nd year thing", everyone is less shy than when we first stepped into RP.

Apart for the people in my class, my new module are pretty interesting.

All of them basically related to IT stuff like programming and website development.

Most people would go "BORING!" at the word Programming but not me, I actually find it pretty interesting, creating your own programs.

Who knows I might the next Bill Gates...haha...Not!

So far i got some pretty good commands after receiving a couple of grades.

Like...

"I think you were exceptional today!I see you have the natural ability to do programming. I would urge you to continue to put in the effort in class, and I am very sure you will do very well for this module.Keep up the good work!"

Pretty cool eh... Well it's just the first lesson so...we'll see..

In a blink of an eye school is re-opening! TOMORROW!

Feeling a little anxious and nervous at the same time. Mixed feelings.

New class, new classmates, new modules and a whole lot of other new stuff.

Im finally gonna start going into my course, studying all sorts of programming/IT stuff for my first semester.

Theres has been a few changes in the school timetable, like starting school slightly later and having shorter breaks(hate this the most).

I guess everything will be alright after some getting use to, so i can only hope for the best.

One good thing is, i only need to attend school 4 times a week instead of the normal 5(Super Plus!).

Any oh ya, my class is like right at the other end of school, so i have to spent like 5-10 min more of walk time to get to class. Guess that will be my daily morning exercise :)

Caught these three movies over the past few days and i must say they are pretty worth watching. Out of the three, i enjoyed Fast & Furious 4 the most because i really love the cars and all the cool stunts and mad driving skills that the series has always shown.

So do go down to any theater to catch these movies. A must watch!

Every since I stopped work, I have really been chilling at home, doing nothing but watching TV and playing my computer games. Was really hoping I could get some friends out during this period of my soon to end holiday. But...apparently most of them are still working our have already made their own plans. Well, I still have about a week or so till school starts and besides, chilling at home ain't that bad.

As you all know, the IT Fair was held at Suntec City from the 12 to 15 of March.

It was also around this time that i completely used up my 320GB external hard disk.

"What great timing for the IT Fair to turn up"

So i went on the first day of the fair along with Anthony as it won't be as crowded

We went to the IT Fair straight after work.

Before that, we spent some time at work trying to find out the cheapest bargains on stuff we wanted to get, so we won't waste time trying find what we need when we got there.

When we reached there, it was pretty packed despite going on the first day.

We still managed to walk around the whole place, looking at sorts of IT stuff.

In the end I managed to get a 2.5" 320Gb hardisk at $99! (CHEAP!) and

Anthony bought a 2.5" 500GB hard disk at $169 (PRETTY CHEAP).

Just as we were about to leave for home, I got a surprise call from Jessie, asking me if we were still at the IT Fair.

She needed our help to carry some stuff she and her mom bought to their car.

So both Anthony and I, being the gentleman that we are, had to help her.

In the end we got a free ride all the way to red hill MRT station, which is a good thing, because we won't have to squeeze with the tonnes of people who are also heading home from the IT Fair.

As soon as i got home, i immediatly started uploading my movies and stuff into my new hard disk and by the time i was done, I was left with around 50GB.

Damn I have a lot of stuff!...

Held a mini movie marathon at home to have some fun with some of my friends.

Anthony and Jessie came over in the morning and we had lunch at Pizza hut.

Took this time to talk about school and any future plans that we had.

After lunch we met the rest of them and head to my house to kick start the movies.

This being a mini movie marathon, we only watched two movies, "Quarantine" & "Twilight".

I guess Quarantine was pretty scary for some of them especially Anthony.

The girls were heading their faces behind cushions and there was this time where Anthony really jumped at a scary scene...HAHA! Super funny!

It was more like a comedy show for me as i watched and laughed at how my friends reacted to all the "so called" scary scenes. Muhahaha...

Went to meet Wendy for lunch at her work place. Promised her that i would look her up for lunch after not being able to meet her the last time she asked me to.

After lunch i met up with Fir and Vic to hang out. Went to starbucks and we each bought ourselves a cup of iced coffees. Hug mistake as we all shivering after drinking the ice cold drinks while walking around Marina shopping center and not to mention, it was raining outside. Freakin cold...We then met NeeLam and Aileen at Bugis and continued talking and chilling.

Had a great time hangin out with them as school is about to re-open and we have to go to different classes. Its times like this where you get to spent time with your friends just talking and having fun that you realised you'll miss these times and you know it won't be the same without them. Hopefully we will get to meet up soon as the holidays are coming to a end and hopefully, more people will join us.

Had a really awesome week as many good things happened.

First off...

As you all know, i went for a class chalet which lasted from Monday to Wednesday. Had really awesome time there. Got to drink, play and chill with my classmates who 2 whole days. I won't say three because i went after work on the first day. Anyway i got really tired during this chalet as i didn't really sleep. I would say, our time spent there was really made to full use. Haha.

Somehow, i felt that the chalet ended a little too fast and I'm guessing a few people might agree with me on that. All in all, i had a really good time and i hope to be able to enjoy the company again.

To my W15D peeps, i just wanna say that i really enjoyed myself during the past 16 weeks of school and all the time we spent together. I really hope that in the future, we will be able to come out and hang like we used again. Thank you for all the awesome memories and i will always treasure you all.

Second on the awesome week list...

The GPA for the second semester of the school has been published and i am glade to report that i have made an improvement! I actually got a GPA of...*drum roll*3.6!! I was so happy when i got to know my results that i was jumping around my office like a monkey with a banana. This "3.6" is actually the overall grading and in actual fact i scored 3.7 just for the semester, which means i improved by 0.2 from the previously semester. WOOT!

WAIT WAIT WAIT! There's more...Because i did pretty well, i managed to get into the ROLL OF HONORS! How great is that?! Finally managed to get in after a failed attempt in the first semester. Now, iv gotta work harder next semester and try to maintain my grades.

Last but not least...

I finally bought a new phone! Could not stand the last one i had... SO BORING! Now i have a really cool touch phone, the Samsung F480, which is a fully touch phone and it looks super sleek. Have yet to really put the phone to its full use and im sure im gonna have loads of fun with this one. So happy!

Lunch at Ajisan during work

Finally i have time to update...Been really busy with work

Basically the only thing that happen over the past week worth blogging about was my "non special occasion" lunch at Ajisan Raman. The day before, William my colleague and I were talking over lunch about good food and suddenly Ajisan Raman came up and he said we should go there one day. Never did i expect it to be the on next day that we will go there... We called Anthony and Lai Wan (A colleague whom we are close to) to come along. As all of you know Ajisan Raman sells one of the best ramens in Singapore we definately ate our fill. It was a weekday so there were set lunches which consists of a Raman of choice, 1 side dish and a choice between greentea (free flow) or ice lemon tea (not free flow). So being Singaporeans we naturally went for the free flow drink...hahas

During lunch we talked a lot about work and "relationship"... In a blinked of an eye, we had already been eating for more than an hour! Our lunch time is 1 HOUR and we are still eating past that time!!! No thanks to William...talk talk talk, never eat.... So when we went back, we had work an additional 30mins just to pay back our lunch time... It was fun though...

New TV

Okay, something really cool happened at home over the past two weeks. Apparently, just before CNY, my big and bulky black TV which has been with us for 10+ yrs finally broke down for the last time. Those who have been to my house before, you know which TV I'm talking about.

So, my parents finally decided to chuck the old TV and get a new flat screen LCD TV. In the past we did have plans to get one but just did not have the need for one. So now that we got one, we really went big! They bought this 47" Philips TV and the best thing about this is, it came with free sound system and an additional 32" TV as well. Talk about good deals!

So what happened to the additional TV? IT BECAME MINE! Yes! It is now mounted on my wall and i can watch movies and play games on it! Awesome ain't it! I was really shocked when my parents told me about it.

Anyway, everything was supposed to be delivered to my home last week but, they brought everything but my TV! They ended up bringing this 19" TV and i was like, is that it? Apparently, they brought the wrong TV and i only got it just yesterday. So now its mounted on the wall right in front of me. Really got to thank my parents for everything. So here's a big THANK YOU to my folks. Cheers!

To all my loyal readers and friends, as some of you might know, i have started working and won't be able to update my blog frequently. But i will try to update over the weekends if i have time about all the things which happen during Mon-Fri.

So just to update you guys a little, I'm actually went back to the same company i worked for during my O level holidays. The only diff is I'm in a diff department now. So I'm currently working in the finance dept, working as a temp staff. Even though the work there is not as "slack" as my previous job, I'm kinda getting use to it and the people there are also great. Also, i will be working for about 2 months, roughly till the end of March. Thereafter, i will be able to relax all the way till school starts and the beginning of my second year in my poly.

So do check back weekly for updates and hopefully i will have some exciting news to share with you guys. Cheers!

Visit to TWSS and gambling

Went back to my secondary school with a couple of my friends to pay a visit to our ex-teachers. Managed to have lunch with our best teacher, Mdm Pua in the school canteen and we had a good time talking to each other. It has a long time since i had the food in the school canteen and they still taste the same when i was still in the school itself. After lunch we went to the staff room to look for the rest of our teachers and managed to talk to a number of them. After that, we walked around the school to look at the chinese new year decorations in the classes. Really reminded me of how i used to help out with all the decorations and the fun i had doing so.

After visiting the school we went to Bayleen's house to pay a visit. But my main motive was to gamble...hehe. Took a cab down and there was already some friends of hers there. Soon we started playing cards and we played from 3 to 11. Talk about how time flies... In the end i actually made a lost and lost about $30*sob*. Well you win some you lose some... Hope to be able to gamble more this few days...

Today marks the last day of the 2nd semester and my 1st year in RP!

Feeling happy yet sad at the same time cuz i will be going on to my second year next semester but at the same time, i have to say goodbye to W15D. My dear friends we had a great run and i will never forget the great times we had. Hopefully i was able to capture most of our wonderful memories in the class video and hope u enjoyed the video too. Well, Lifei almost cried so i guess it was alright. Thank You all once again for all the great times we shared. I will be looking forward to our 2nd chalet where can have loads of fun again.

Last week in school got kinda boring so i started drawing on my hands just like i used to do in the past. Tattoos just simply amaze me! Im so gonna get one when i get older. Anyway, i started writing my name in some roman font on my forearm and everyone thought it was not bad and soon everyone wanted one. So i drew on some names for some people. Turns out, i did quite a good job and they really look real. Who know? Tattoo artist as a future job? That will be a fun job =)

Happy 19th Birthday Firdaus & Chloe!

Conincidentally, two of my classmates shared the same birthday! How cool is that!
So the class decided to do something special just for them.
WATERBOMB target practice!
Yes! So we basically lured them to Admirity park, just beside school and ambushed them with the bombs!
A few of us had to prepare the bombs(no names shell be named) and wait for everyone to come down.
Had lots of fun dranching them with plastic bags some filled with cold and some warm water.
Thank god we told them to bring an extra set of clothes but Chloe only brought an extra t-shirt, so..basically all her inner clothing were soaked as well...dumb!
Anyway everyone enjoyed themselves.

Brisk Walking Event...total waste of time!

Went for some brisk walking event last Sat during RP's open house. Apparently the event was part of some "living healthy" thing... So IGs were told to volunteer some members to participate in the walk, probably so that it will look like theres people in the event itself. Anyway, The Minister of Health was the guest of honor in the event so i guess it was kind of a big deal for the school.

The stupid thing about the event was, i had to wake up early in the morning just to go to school. When i say early, i really mean early, early like the sky was still dark early... I have not woken up this early since secondary school! Moreover, i woke up early just to go for some walk...like wtf. In the end, the walk only last for less than an hour and i could go home. Total waste of time, time which i could have spent on my cozy bed with my air-conditioned room...damn! So i returned home at around 11 and immediately knocked-out on my bed till around 3.

Yes! I am finally a pround owner of an ipod! Yup! I bought the newest ipod nano gen.4 and it so totally cool. It comes in 9 different colors and some new features and and... ITS SO DAMN COOL! As soon as i got home, i immedietly stuffed in all my songs and i am already listening to it. Anyway i bought the yellow one and before you tell me thats so gay or some shit and before you ask why, i will tell you why. My reply is simple, just take a look at it and you will know why. So Yay to my new ipod and hopefully i will be able to enjoy it fully. GO IPOD!

Trip to the library

It has been ages since i walked into a library and even longer since i walked in empty handed and came out with something. Yup! That's right i borrowed a BOOK! The Choa Chu Kang National Library just re-opened with a totally new look and feel and they moved up to the 4th floor of Lot 1. Went in for a look and was really impressed by all the changes, especially the children's reading corner. The kids corner is now separated from the normal side of the library. So when you walk into the library, turn right for kids and turn left for all the other people who use to hate, children running about the old library. Seriously gotta thank the designer, kudos to you. Now the library is what a library should be...peaceful and quiet.

Back to me borrowing a book(amazingly). This may come as a shock to many of you, but i actually use to read books. Now i do all my reading from my wonderful laptop(gotta keep up with the 21st century peeps). Anyway somehow i felt the urge to borrow a book and become a reader?? Don't know how that happened but i already said somehow... So me being all interested in the bodybuilding stuff, i decided to borrow a book relating to my interest, titled "The Men's Health Hard Body Plan". The book is like 1 inch think(measured it with a ruler) and now Im thinking to myself how am i gonna complete the book? Well, iv got a whole 3 weeks to finish the book and i have plenty of time to spare.

The holidays are here! 3 whole weeks to be exact...damn! What am i gonna do? Should i find a job or should i just rot at home?? hmm... Iv got to admit im lazy to work and would rather stay at home but staying at home is boring and i need money! Argh! I'll just have to wait and see.

Speaking of the holidays, Christmas is coming and this is the season of giving. Since X'mas is coming, W15D has decided to hold a gathering during the holidays, to celebrate X'mas. How cool is that?! We are suppose to buy a present for a secret somebody in class whom we randomly choose and than give it to him/her on the day of our celebration. so i have to buy a present for someone and someone has to buy a present for me. Ofcoz there is a price range for the gifts, between $10-$20 was the decided range, and now i have to decided what to get. Hmm...I'll see. Maybe i might come across something interesting and withing the budget.

Also, I am soo sad to say that i won't be able to go back to school till next year...*sob* Freaking holiday has to be 3 weeks! Why can't it be added on to the year end break instead of having it 3 weeks before the final 3 weeks of school for the year?! I am gonna miss school food and all my friends in school mainly W15D and my beloved E36Q. Just hope that this holiday can pass by quickly.

I finally bought myself a pair of Braziliano Praia sandals!

Had planned an outing for W15D and at the same time i could go and get my sandals, but in the end only a few people could made it. Firdaus, Victor and I met up at orchard MRT and went for lunch. Had Burger King at Cini and we talked about some school stuff and some funny shit. After lunch went to get my stuff and we headed for the IT fair at The Singapore Expo.

Took us about half an hour to reach there from somerset. We already noted the amount of people boarding the train to the expo at Tanah Merah station. Boarded the train like packed sardines. So many people! But! That was nothing compared to the amount of people at the expo. Practically spent 2 hours there trying to squeeze our way around the whole damn hall. Talk about human jam... Managed to see quite a few cool gadgets at ridiculously low prices and not to mention some hot promoter babes. Any way, our main purpose for going there was to look t the external harddisks. Saw quite a few cheap and good ones but i did not want to spent more money after buying my sandals. In the end Victor bought a Toshiba 320gb harddisk for $139.90, which is totally cheap and its a new model too.

After paying for his stuff, we decided to go home. So we took the gruelling 1 hour journey back home and the journey home was not comfortable either. It was far worse than the journey it took to come here. You get the idea... Reached home at around 5pm and went for an early dinner with my parents.

Module Selection

Did my module selection for year 2 recently. Initially thought that i had to choose from a whole bunch of module which i have no clue of. Luckyly, there was a module briefing held by my module chair for students in my diploma.

Turns out that all i need to to choose is if i wanted to take elective modules for my 2nd year. The core modules had alreay been selected for us and the elctive modules are modules that we are suppose to learn in year 3. So if we choose to learn the year 3 modules in year 2, than we will have lesser modules to cover in year 3.

So in the end, i choose to be a normal student, no elective module, just 4 modules. This means that i only need to come to school for 4 days in a week! Woohoo! Don't wanna stress myself out with all the extra stuff. Damn i can't wait for year to arrive. I can meet new friends and learn new things.

Just came back from the gym after wasting my whole morning at Lower Seletar River doing nothing! Super frustrating! The whole kayaking team waited there like goons for one stupid guys to come and open our shack. Wait for over 2 hours! 2 HOURS! How long does it take for him to come from home...seriously...it takes me less than 2 hours just to travel from Choa Chu Kang all the way to pasir ris... In the end we decided that even if he managed to come, we wouldn't even have time to get into the water anyway, so we left for lunch at mac before heading home.

After reaching cck, i went for a long awaited hair cut which i have been putting off for over 2 weeks. I decided to cut away my tail as i felt it was kinda...messy? ya...so now i have that good short good boy hair cut which i think still suits me....im a good boy after all. hehe =) Wonder what will people say when i go back to school on monday.

Went out some of the peeps from E36Q to celebrate my birthday.

Sad to say, i had gotten sick from the day before, but i could still go.

We had dinner at Fish & Co. heeran.

They bought me a super sexy t-shirt which i don't i have enough guts to wear it out.

The food was great and the people who went were even better.

Being Fish & Co., when you celebrate your birthday there, be sure to expect something embarrassing.

I was made to stand on a chair in the middle of the whole shop, while the staff of Fish & Co sang me a birthday song.

Oh ya...not to mention all the people staring at me.

So they bought me a cake as well which, tasted totally awesome and we actually shared this slice of cake.

Had lots of fun on that day and i look forward to celebrating the birthday of next member of E36Q...

Met the study gang after school as they wanted to celebrate my birthday.

When to PS with Anthony and met up with the rest of them.

Went to a Hong Kong Restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, they surprised me by buying me a tub of chocolate ice-cream and sang me the birthday song. Than they brought out the wooden rice scoop and forced me to eat the ice-cream with it...=.=

After that, since we had no where else to go, we decided to go to Star Bucks at The Cathay to sit down. Anthony and I than took this chance to make use of the free internet service to submit or RJ and stuff.
Stayed till about 10.30pm before we had to leave.
I really enjoyed myself.

Zong Lin had a pre birthday BBQ celebration near his place last night. All his church friends and a whole bunch of secondary school friends along with his family members of course attended the celebration. Even thought the BBQ ended early, we still managed to enjoy ourselves. This occasion also served as a time for all of us, ex-teck whyeans, to catch-up with one another. Despite having around 30 or more people at the BBQ, I must applaud the Yeo family for being able to accommodate such a huge number and for preparing enough food for everyone. I also found that the church members who were there were also very kind and helpful, as they kept coming up to us with food, asking if we wanted some.

After everything was finish and most of the people had left, I actually got some time to hang out with Anthony, Sui How, Jessie, Bayleen & Pei Jun. Its been a long time since i met them, with the exception of Anthony whom i meet everyday because we go to school together, and i really enjoyed myself. So after that, i went home tired and reeking of the BBQ stench, took a bath and watched TV for awhile before lying on my comfy bed for some sleep time

A group of us went to Lobster House for lunch today. We had received and email saying that Lobster House was having a promotion. $3 a set which includes a meal and one can of drink. Cheap right?? But when we went their, we were told the promotion was only in the morning. Luckily they still have their normal set lunch which cost $4.50 for the same thing. So i took a few pictures of what some of us ate.

Went for a talk about film making with the class. It all started with the class promising our Communication Facilitator Danial Ang that we will go for this talk that he had arranged. So ya, we went for the talk. Quite interesting, as Eric Khoo talks about how the film was produced and how much it cost, etc... Just in case, for all you people who do not know who Eric Khoo is, he is a local film director of films like "Mee Pok Man" and "Be With Me".

5km run

Just completed another 5km run ytd during kayaking training. Originally, training was suppose to be canceled as it had rain heavily, making the ground wet, slippery and muddy. We all met at the ALC room to decide if training should be canceled but since we were all there and some people had already change to their running attire, we decided that who ever wanted to run, just go ahead and run. In the end we all ran the 5km route, boy was it tiring, imagine not taking lunch and than go for a 5km run....totally BAD idea. So how, i feel that my stamina has greatly increased. In secondary school, i had a hard time running even 2.4km during the NAFA test. Now, on good days, i able to run 5km without stopping. Hope to be able to run further in the future.

Oh ya...mommy bought me a new hoody! So cool of her! Shall post a picture of me wearing it in the future.

Fucked up laptop

Ok my laptop fucked up again this morning. My wireless driver died on me again and i had to restart my laptop for like 10+ times. I practically wasted my first meeting, not being able to do anything. Being in a school which fully depends on each student having their own laptops during lesson, makes you totally useless and helpless, if your laptop has serious issues like mine. Thankfully, my laptop came back to live during the first break and i managed to do my work from second meeting onwards...phew... This just proves that being a human in this current era, one cannot live without the internet, or a computer for the matter.

Soooo not looking forward to the next time my laptop breaks down again. Even if it does, i pray to god that it does not fall on a UT day, if not i'll be fucked up...

My first CE talk for the sem

Finally went for my first CE talk this sem. After putting off several attempts to go for other talk previously, i finally went for one and i did not go alone. I went for a S.I.T.(my school...so i get DP point) talk, titled"High Tech in Beijing Olympics", with Kelvin, Victor, Izuanto, Ben & Huzaini. The talk basically talks about how they used high technology to conduct the olympic games. "Quite" interesting la the talk. introduced a lot of things China did during the Olympic games to make sure the whole thing ran smoothly. Like firing some kind of special rocket into the sky so that it will rain before the olypic games started and making sure the water temperature in the swimming pools were comfortable to swim in. Sadly, there were no freebies given for this talk... More talks to come! Hopefully with frebies =)

The day started off with me and Ant meeting up to go visit Jessie and the finance people of Lhub. Went to redhill to have lunch with them and had a few laughs. After that, me and Ant went to town for some shopping. Practically went everywhere. From bugis all the way to takashimaya. I finally found myself a hoody! and i also bought i cool t-shirt from bossini which cost like 13 bucks...$_$ Both of us practically walked from mall to mall, going in and out of shops, like some crazy shoppers, looking for both our things as well as Ant's classmate's present. In the nd awe both spend about $50 today and now i have to deal with the seemingly big hole in my pocket! Cheers to shopping! =p

W15D - Kelvin's Birthday

Celebrated Kelvin's birthday today. Was damn hilarious, especially the gift we bought him. A groups of us went down to CWP to get the birthday cake and a small present as well. After buying the cake we went to the value store to buy some tissues. Than we saw that the shop actually sells clothes for like $1.90 a piece(of course the cheap quality type). Out of fun, we bought him a ladies top with flower laces on the neck line area. When we got back to class, we sang him the Happy Birthday song and made him wear the present we bought him. We forced him to change in class and boy was it hilarious. We even made him wear it throught the whole day. This is actually the first time we celebrated for our new classmates after changing classes and i think mine is up next...

Haiz...today's science lesson is so damn hard. Only until the last 30-40 min of the 2nd break than i understood the lesson. I got a feeling it is the lack of experience from the faci, that is why i feel that it is so hard, despite trying so hard. I did not have this problem last sem when my faci was Joel(Bless you man for making my sci lesson so easy last sem). If i manage to get A for today's lesson than it means that i have successfully "smoked" through.

Kayaking Training Canceled

Today's training was canceled at the last moment. A bunch of us had had already gathered in school when we heard of the news. Our coach, Mag, had to bring her father to the hospital. So no choice, training canceled. We were there at about 8.30am and decided to go to BK for breakfast. After that, went home and since i had already applied sun tan lotion, i went for a little dip in the pool. Swam some laps and i felt that my swimming stamina has greatly slacken. I use to be able to swim 10-15 laps no problem, but now, i only swam about 8 laps and i was dead. Haha...Guess i need to get back into swimming soon, that is, if my laziness does not get in the way.

Blur Computing lesson

Ok i know iv not been updating recently and Bacon told me to update cuz everytime she visits my blog, theres nothing to read. So ermm...I was a total blur for today's computing lesson. As usual, being Wed, its the start to a whole new set of problems. So i don't really have any slides taken from friends to depend on, except the notorious 6p, which btw did not help one bit... I have no idea why but i not get into the correct mind set for todays lesson. Ended up playing games during lesson and when it cam to discussion, i was at a total lost. Luckily for me, i have wonderful teammates which i could depend on guiding me back on track and...O ya...they also did the ppt. =x

Erm...and and and...did i mention my faci is smoking hot today! She wore this one-peice-short-skirt/dress thing which looks sooo good on her and to add on to that, she wore heels!(Dont think im a pervert after reading this. Im just stating the facts =x). OMG! I don't even dare see la...argh!...cannot tahan!

We had asked her to come to school today, so that we could celebrate.

We surprised her with a small slice of cake top off with a candle.

We went to Canadian Pizza for dinner

and than went back to school to watch a movie.

Today's lesson was a super bore, with the super lamn faci, that i post about earlier. I started playing games during the presentations with my other classmates. Back to the days of gaming during lessons. I also tried to tie up my tail. Had many attemps but the pulling of hair was hindering my sucess. I finally manged to tie up my hair and Fidaues saw what i did and he also wanted to follow. His was like so nice. He tied two tails which were even braided.

Kayaking camp

Came back from Kayaking camp on Sat afternoon. Soooo tired. Had loads of fun during the camp. The camp started on friday, after school. Had to bring all my lobang to school in the morning for lessons. My class had to deal with my new cognetive faci, which by the way, is a total weirdo! Kept telling us lame jokes...

Faci: What is the 2 main reasons students email their faci?

Students: Submit rj (1st ans)
Faci: WOW! You guys are so clever! ( With a shocked look on his face)

StudentS: Lame...=.=

Dont even bordered what the 2nd ans was.

After school, went to prepare all the stuff for the out-door cooking for the camp. Out-door cooking was sort of cool. We had to cook and gather all the cook food together before we could eat together. After dinner, we played some team game in the agora hall, where by we have to make a ball stay in the air by hitting it and we have to keep it there by hitting it 50 times and everyone must hit at least once. Spend like 45 min doing that. After the game, had our shower and we were on our own. Played games and screened the movie "Room 1408" on a projector we borrow from the school. Went to bed at around 4+.

Next day, we were suppose to wake up at like 7 and be in running attire by 7.30 for morning run and exercise. In the end, because everyone did not really sleep, some of us woke up way past the time and everything started around 8. Haha. Did a normal one round around the school for the run and than we decided to play captians ball. After that we finally went for our kayaking activity at the schools swimming pool. We used played boats instead of the conventional kayaks, becuase play boats are way smaller and the normals ones are just too big to play in the pool..duh.. We were at the pool for well over 4 hours before we ended the session and the camp as well. We went for late lucnch at pasta mania in causeway point begore heading home.

When i reached home, had my dinner at around 7 and slept all the way till the next morning... My parents even heard me snore, which i normally don't, when they checked up on me. That goes to show how tired i was...

first day of sems 2

Woke up early in the morning, 7.30am to be exect, to go to school. New school semster and new classmates. Feeling excited and sad at the same time, because i will be meetin new friends but at the same time, i will not be with my beloved E36Q. "sob" Met Anthony and ZongLin anddddd Bacon! Extra seh...haha joking.

Stepped into class and like i said in the previous post, total awkwardness. The air is like so still, totally silent, very irritating feeling la! Anyway set in our groups, so no chioce, had to talk about the problem statement. Started adding them on msn and for some reason, eventhought we are like sitting at the same table, we are using msn to communicate. I typed in the convo, asking why are we doing so and they all started laughing and we looked at each other, almost immediately they continued typing away...=.=

I kept going to Jo's and Shawn's class during all the breaks and after school, because both of them were some how in the same class and just 1 floor below mine, so it was very convinient to pop in. Like their class more than mine la. Their class like so noisy on the first day!

Today's problem like some blurr shit la. In the begaining, did not understand shit but some how managed to graps it at the last hour or so. So everything was alright for my first day. At the end of the day, i group of us actually met up at jo's class, played a few rounds of games and left for home. RJ was super easy to right and i got like 1 out of 4 qns right for my quiz, not bad for the first day. Cheers!

Teachers Day

Today is Teacher's Day so i went back to TWSS visit my ex-teachers along with a group of friends. Reached school around 11am, just as all the school celebration and concert stuff was over. Managed to also see a couple of old friends whom i have not seen for some time. Talked to some of the teachers and i was told by the teachers that my batch had gotten the school some academic bronze award which apparently is a big thing and i suppose has improved the entry requirements of the school. Its great and all but, we the students who made this happen, did not even get a single thing! What is this...

After all the chit chat, we left school for lunch at Lot 1. There was a total of 10 of us so we did had some trouble finding seats. Oh ya! As usual, pictures were taken both in school and outside of school. I'll post them up as soon as i can get hold of them.

After lunch some left while the remaining of us wanted to go for a movie. Gerald, Jessie, Bayleen, PeiJun & me ended up going to WestMall to watch 4bia. Some Thailand ghost show, which Thailand is supposingly well known for, ended up becoming some dump show which i even laugh at during one point of the show. Seriously, its like so predictable and you will feel like scolding the person when he is about to do something stupid. Not to mention the digitally added "ghost" which don't even look real! I have to admit, some parts were a little shocking and there were gore, as expected in any scary movie. PeiJun even used the popcorn to hover her face... =.=
After the movie, we all went back and thats all for today.
